why should you learn it?

emBodiment practices and social justice are intimately linked.

To impact the world with positive change, we must first examine ourSelves.

What are my own belief systems? Biases? Prejudices?

What is living and breathing in my body right now?

To help others, we must first practice transforming our own pain into empowerment and voice.

This is the heart and soul of the Radically Rooted Yoga Teacher Training.

Elements of Our Yoga Teacher Training

At Radically Rooted, we challenge the narrative to conform and enable harmful practices.

This includes our belief that one does not have to "let go," "relax," or be flexible

to receive ample benefits from an emBodied yoga practice.

All of you is welcomed and all your experiences are welcomed. At Radically Rooted, we are not changing or fixing the current experience, rather we offer an invitation to acknowledge, allow, be curious about, invite, and celebrate that which is currently present in every given experience.

Through this awareness, transformation of pain into empowerment is infinitely possible.

"Where we are born into privilege, we are charged with dismantling any myth of supremacy. Where we are born into struggle, we are charged with claiming our dignity, joy, and liberation."
